Description:
This scholarship is available for qualified international students accepted by Japanese universities or graduate schools under the student exchange agreement on a short-term basis from about three months to one year. JASSO administers a range of scholarship programs. The purpose of these programs is to foster the development individuals who will become the leaders of the next generation of society and to promote international understanding and exchange.

Monthly stipend: 80,000 Japanese Yen per month (up to 12 months)
Criteria:
The applicant must satisfy following conditions: * Must hold nationality of countries that have diplomatic relations with Japan. * Does Not hold nationality of Japan.
Includes:
1. Monthly stipend: 80,000 Japanese Yen per month (up to 12 months)
2. Relocation allowance: 150,000 Japanese Yen (upon arrival only )
