Description:
The Katrina Relief Scholarships (KRS) and Scholarships for NSCS members (NSCS is The National Society of Collegiate Scholars) have been designed for those students who want to study in Florence, Italy, and reduce their program cost. NECA is an accredited study abroad program dedicated to a high level of instruction with a qualified international teaching staff that encourages students to make the most of their experience abroad. NECA provides high academic standards and individualized attention. Interdisciplinary courses in various fields of study and Directed Study offered.

Criteria:
The Katrina Relief Scholarhips are automatically awarded to students who come from or study in any U.S. states hit by Katrina. The scholarship will be automatically awarded upon acceptance of the student's on-line application. The Scholarships For NSCS Members are automatically awarded to all NSCS members enrolled in a NECA program upon acceptance of their on-line application. Note: If you are eligible for both scholarships (NSCS and KRS), the exact amount of the COMBINED scholarships depend on your state (Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, etc.), your academic standing, your university, your GPA, the number of programs in which you will enroll, amongst other factors.
