Bess H. Ward Honors Travel Scholarships

Approximately 30 competitive Bess Ward Honors Travel Scholarships are offered annually to outstanding undergraduate University Honors and Honors in the Major students. These one-time-only Honors Scholarships help cover travel costs and personal expenses for one semester (fall, spring, or summer) for Honors students attending the FSU Study Centers in Ghana, South Africa; Cape Town, South Africa; Seoul, Korea; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; San Jose, Costa Rica; Panama City, Panama; Port of Spain, Trinidad; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Prague, Czech Republic; London, England; Paris, France; Valencia, Spain; Leysin, Switzerland; and multi-location programs. Stipend amounts vary, depending on the length of the program, but they generally run between $1,200-$1,500 for full semester study-abroad programs and $500-$800 for shorter summer programs. To be eligible students must have completed at least 12 hours of FSU coursework and two Honors courses.
