International Programs Anniversary Scholarship

Description: The Florida State University International Programs is committed to providing a quality international learning environment where students are challenged to be learners, leaders, achievers and contributors within a global community. In the twenty-first century students must be able to understand and perceive global change, and we are dedicated to exposing them to international cultures, lifestyles and languages.

International Programs is pleased to offer over $110,000 worth of scholarships annually.

Awards:

Fall Semester - up to 6 scholarships awarded, in denominations from $4000 to $7500 per student based on need and applicant pool

Spring Semester - up to 6 scholarships awarded, in denominations from $4000 to $7500 per student based on need and applicant pool

Summer Terms - in denominations from $1500 to $5000 per student, based on need, applicant pool and fall/spring allocation totals

  • Bachelors

Field(s) of Study:

  • Unrestricted / Other

Amount: Fall & Spring Semester: up to USD 7500, Summer Terms: up to USD 5,000

No. of Scholarship Recipients: 6 scholars

Criteria: Interested students must meet the following:

a) Degree-seeking FSU undergraduate or graduate student (not FYA students)
b) 3.5 overall GPA or better (undergraduate or graduate)
c) Demonstrate financial need through the FSU Financial Aid Office
d) No prior FSU judicial history

Supporting documents:
a) FSU International Programs program application
b) FSU International Programs scholarship application
c) 500-word essay
d) Two letters of reference from faculty or university administrators
e) Resume
