IES Abroad William Dwyer Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Description:
This scholarship was established by the IES Board of Directors to honor the memory of William Dwyer, the father of the current IES president, Dr. Mary Dwyer. Mr. Dwyer was committed to quality higher education. He studied Spanish as an undergraduate student and used it on a regular basis in his international work in the steel industry. These scholarships are intended for students interested in studying in a Spanish-speaking country.

Criteria:
* Attend a college or university that is a Member or Associate Member of the IES college consortium. * Currently receive financial aid from your home school. The home school must have a policy of transferring at least 75% of home school aid to IES. * Must have a 3.3 minimum GPA. * Must be admitted to and attend an IES program in a Spanish-speaking country (Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, or Spain).
Includes:
Up to two (2) awards given per year ranging up to $1,000.
